Shipping policy

1. Where we ship

We ship to all addresses within the Republic of South Africa, including residential, business, and parcel-locker addresses.

2. Delivery timeframe

Destination Standard delivery
Major metros (Johannesburg, Pretoria, Cape Town, Durban, Port Elizabeth, Bloemfontein) 2–3 business days
Regional / outlying areas 3–5 business days

Lead time is measured from payment confirmation to delivery on the customer's premises. Orders placed after 14:00 on a business day, or on weekends and public holidays, are processed the next business day.

3. Shipping cost

Shipping is calculated at checkout based on cart value and destination:

  • Orders over R1,000 — free standard delivery nationwide.
  • Orders under R1,000 — flat-rate shipping displayed at checkout.

4. Carrier and tracking

We dispatch via reputable national couriers (The Courier Guy, Aramex, RAM, or DSV depending on the supplier). A tracking number is emailed to you as soon as the parcel is collected from the distributor.

5. Order fulfilment model

Savannah Tech operates a distributor-backed fulfilment model: stock is held at our South African distribution partners, who pack and dispatch each order directly to your address. This allows us to offer a wider catalogue with up-to-date stock visibility, while keeping delivery times consistently within the windows above.

6. Failed delivery / incorrect address

If a delivery fails because the address provided is incorrect or no one is available to receive the parcel:

  • The courier will attempt redelivery once at no cost.
  • Further redelivery attempts may incur an additional fee, which we will quote before re-dispatch.

If the parcel is returned to the distributor undelivered, we will contact you to arrange redelivery or a refund (less the return-shipping fee).

7. Damaged or lost parcels

Please inspect your parcel on receipt. Any visible damage must be noted on the courier's waybill and reported to us at support@savannahtech.co.za within 24 hours. We will lodge a claim with the courier and either replace the goods or refund you in full.
